America is #1 almost everything, best economy, military, most successful people, best sports, best places to go for visit or living, richest, strongest, most successful and powerful country. US is a big country. What I mean by that is it's a very powerful country. The size is also big, not the biggest country but it's at lest either 3rd or 4th biggest country in the world for their size. We have lots of people. You can even see almost every race. It's the third most populated country in the world. First is China, then second is India. It's also a popular country too. A lot of people wants to either live or visit USA. We even have all the good new technology. Our country has two types of governor which is Democracy and Republic. Russia has a total nuclear arsenal of around 8,500 while the USA has around 7,500. Russia still has around double the amount of tanks that the USA has. The new radar jamming system on their planes makes it so it takes around 4-5 missiles to even hit the plane effectively. Russian S-400 system can knock out pretty much anything any other country throws at them, for example, in Serbia, the Serbs used old Russian equipment but still downed a few F-16s plus a stealth fighter, imagine nowadays against these NEW Russian weapon systems! The Russian Armata tanks and armored vehicles are like playing world of tanks the video games, just point and shoot, no calculations at all, and the recent Russian cruise missile launch on ISIS shows that they can effectively combat an overseas threat from a large distance (The Caspian Sea).M

Japan is a powerful nation. But I must argue that they are not the most powerful. Their Type 90 MBT Is superior to that of Russian design but lacks the additional tech and fire power that the US M1a2 Abrams MBT boasts. Japanese troops are well trained but not as good as the British or Americans. The United States also posses the largest navy not Japan though the Japanese navy is very advanced it is not quite as advanced as the American fleet. The Japanese also don't boast a large land army in comparison with other world powers. The Japanese do not even posses a nuclear weapon. As for economics Japan is very powerful but lacks the Great industry of the states. Japan also lacks many natural resources and are forced to import them from countries like Canada, and the US. All in all I have the up most respect for the Japanese people but I can not say that they are the most powerful nation in the world.M+1

Germany is very powerful from a military perspective. The Leopard 2 Main Battle tank is the equal of the American M1a2 Abrams or the British challenger. German special forces are also very formidable especially GsG9 the counter terror unit. Germany also has a lot of experience in war. But Germany lacks aircraft carriers, or a sufficient fleet to compete with other navel powers. Germany can not mass produce weapons on the scale that the Americans or Russians can as was seen during WW2. Germany also does not have the best soldiers and while their special forces are well trained I have to say that the SAS and the seals are better. The reason I say this is because the SAS taught the GSG9 everything they knew. And the Seals have better tech more funding and more experience having been created even before the SAS.M+2

By re- unifying in just under 30 Years and building itself to what it is today shows that Germany is resilient and has proven themselves to be such a big weapon in comparison to the size of the nation.M+5

But Australia does not have the military budget of the United States (601 billion dollars) nor does it have the numbers China has ten million the United States has 2 million.
